You can add events from the CPE calendar to your own desktop calendar software. These features work with Mozilla's Sunbird, Apple's iCal, Microsoft's Outlook Calendar and other popular desktop and Web-based calendar tools. Your calendar software must be properly installed and configured to work with these internet calendar features. Check the documentation that came with your desktop software.
You can add any single events to one of your existing calendars. When you add an event, a copy is placed in your desktop calendar. If the event is changed online, this change is not automatically updated in your desktop software.
A Note for Outlook Calendar Users
Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 and 2010:
Internet calendar event date downloads are supported by Outlook Calendar 2007 and 2010. The calendar dates can be downloaded to Outlook Calendar as a Calendar Snapshot (Add a Single Event) or Internet Calendar Subscription (Subscribe to the Whole Calendar).
In Outlook Calendar 2007 and 2010 depending on how the Calendar is configured the new internet calendar date or subscription will display as a Side-by-side or Overlaid calendar that can be merged into one calendar. You can also drag and drop dates from the Side-by-side calendar into your personal calendar.
For more information read Microsoft Office Outlook's Introduction to Internet Calendars, Merge Items from Multiple Calendars and View Calendars Side-by-Side or Overlaid.
Microsoft Office Outlook 2000, 2002 and 2003:
Internet calendar event dates and subscriptions can be downloaded to Outlook Calendar versions before 2007 if the user has configured Outlook Calendar to work with these internet calendar features. If properly configured the date or subscription feature will self-populate the calendar.
