Promoting Yourself Within Your Organization
Speaker: Rebecca Pomering
A leadership challenge many women face is promoting themselves within their own organizations.  Everyone wants to build their professional reputation and create opportunities for themselves, but no one wants to be seen as “self-promotional.” This session will cover themes such as:  How to get a seat at the table; how to play a role in the next big meeting; how to build rapport with influencers in your organization; how to push/lead yourself to success.

Navigating Conflict and Difficult Conversations

Have you ever left a nerve-racking challenge and immediately wished for a do over? The very moments that require us to be genuine and commanding can instead cause us to feel phony and powerless. In this break out session, we'll learn and experiment how to use simple techniques to liberate ourselves from fear in high-pressure moments, perform at our best and empower others to do the same.
